Zara comes out tops again

VALENCIAN supermarket chain Mercadona has been rated tenth in the annual list of Spain’s most valuable brands, with global fashion giant Zara once again heading the list. The BrandZ ranking gives the businesses a dollar value with Zara being valued at $25,000 million, followed by Movistar ($21,600 million) and Santander third but a long way behind the second spot at $9,900 million. The top ten is completed with BBVA, Iberdrola, Naturgy, Endesa, Repsol, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear and Mercadona. Other well known brands in the top 20 include Cruzcampo, Mahou, Mango, El Corte Ingles, Bershka and Seat.
