Opera for the little ones in Javea
THE Javea theatre offering this Saturday, 7 March, is an entry level event to spark very young children’s interest in opera, a puppet theatre of Rossini in the Kitchen. The venue is the Tartana Theatre in the Casa de la Cultura. Tickets cost 3€ and are for sale on the day at the box office from 4.30pm before the curtain rises at 5.30pm. The event is suitable for children of three years and upwards.
Adult music lovers are also well catered for on Saturday, with the Vivaldi Ensemble chamber orchestra performing “Il Concerto Barrocco” in the wonderful setting of the Mare de Deu Loreto Church from 9pm. The ensemble features eight strings players (violins, violas, cellos and a double bass) as well as an oboist, pianist and bassoon player. Entry is free to all, subject to the venue’s capacity.
