Fishing past and present
THERE is a timely presentation in the Calpe campus HQ of the Alicante University on the future of the fishing industry off the Alicante coast. Jose Luis Sanchez, who is a PhD in Marine Science and Biology and is a professor at the UA will be presenting “Fishing in the Alicante Coast: present and future” on 17 March at 7.30pm. Admission is free to the Casa Nova, subject to capacity. This programme forms part of the official activities of the UA.
