New contract is rubbish

Bin contract
THE opposition PP in Javea has written an official letter claiming that the new waste services for the town which have recently been agreed are inadequate. There are no guarantees around services such as use of pressure washers to clean the streets and deep cleaning of the communal rubbish containers. The PP say that the latter in particular is a public health requirement, especially in areas where there are bars and restaurants, where the bins should ideally be cleaned every day. Meanwhile, the new contract includes a requirement to spend at least 50 days irrigating forestry, something that should be dealt with by the town’s gardeners not their rubbish collection services stated the PP. There are various other concerns in the letter, which is yet to receive an official response from the governing party and Mayor Jose Chulvi.
