Peter Kay back on screen

Peter Kay
MUCH loved comedian Peter Kay is the stand-out act in a fundraising special TV show planned for later this month. Charities such as Comic Relief and Children in Need are collaborating in the one off event to raise funds for the fight against coronavirus in the UK, specifically sufferers and their families who have been affected by it. This will be the Bolton funny man’s first appearance in three years, and he has almost completely disappeared from view since cancelling a major tour citing family reasons. Other acts lined up include Gary Barlow and Catherine Tate with the bill expected to be extended as the event draws nearer. Many guests will be performing from home and their will be some “special guests” on the night itself. The event date is 23 April and it is due to air at 7pm on BBC1 (8pm Spanish time).
