Pavements coming up again
JAVEA Town Hall has instructed the company responsible for laying the new pavements on Avenida Pla to rip up and replace those already completed as they used the wrong materials. The firm had already had a warning that their work was not as specified in the contract and on this occasion, the council decided to act, said Councillor Isabel Bolufer. The company said that the material they used was of the same quality and they took the actions to save time. The Town Hall has apologised in advance to residents for any further inconvenience caused.
