No scooters on the sidewalks
GANDIA is updating the cities parking and traffic regulations which have been on the statute books for two decades and are starting to look decidedly out of date thanks to technological and other advances. The main one of these is probably the proliferation of electric scooters, which will no longer be allowed on pavements in the town. They can still use roads which have a 20 kmph speed limit as well as bicycle lanes. Where crossing pedestrian streets users will have to push their vehicles.
Other changes include the withdrawal of free parking in the blue zones for motorcycles, although dedicated parking slots for them will be installed. The period you will be able to park a vehicle without moving it has been extended from 15 to 20 days and vehicles towed away for events such as parades will only be fined if they were parked after the warning signs were placed.
