RYANAIR RAPPED AGAI

NEWS RYANAIR RAPPED AGAIN
BUDGET airline Ryanair has fallen foul of the Spanish courts for the second time in four months over charging passengers for taking hand luggage on a flight. In October, the carrier was told by a judge that it could not charge for hand luggage in Spain, but Ryanair said that its policy would not be changed. The latest case goes back to before the company introduced a new series of rules, as an Elche court this time ordered a passenger to be paid 50 euros plus interest after she was forced to pay for her onboard bags on a flight from Liverpool to Alicante-Elche airport. Ryanair said that the case involving a woman called Matilde Flora, was an “isolated” instance and would not cause changes to its rules. A spokesman added that “Ryanair´s baggage policy is transparent and beneficial to customers”.
