LAS VEGAS will host the boxing rematch this Sunday morning(6.00 am) that all fight fans have been waiting for, as Britain´s Tyson Fury takes on Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight belt.
Their first meeting in December 2018 saw the fight controversially declared as a draw, despite the fact that the overwhelming number of neutral observers believed that the British challenger had won, despite hitting the deck twice in the contest.
Fury has no doubt that he has to take his opponent out to avoid taking the verdict to the judges this weekend.
"To guarantee a win, I need a knockout. I don't want another controversial decision - I want a defining win."
Fury, who has been training in Las Vegas for the past two months, believes he is in better condition than he was for their first meeting and says the public has already seen the best of his American opponent.
"I learned in that first fight that he can be hit and hurt," added the Briton. "He's got a big right hand and that's it. He's a one-dimensional fighter.”
At stake for the winner is a likely unification contest against the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight belt holder, Anthony Joshua, but the duo could well meet again before that.
Fury´s promoter, Frank Warren, told the BBC that whoever loses on Sunday has a contract to call for a third bout within 30 days, and that call has to be accepted. ..
