Bringing Beethoven alive
OLIVA is holding a series of free concerts to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, arguably the greatest and best known classical composer of all time. The first concert is this Thursday (20 February) and is for flute and piano at the Music Conservatory in the south of the town. Subsequent performances are on the 24 February, 2, 23, 26 and 31 March, 27 and 30 April and finally 8 and 22 May. The 8 May concert features the full town orchestra and is at the Theatre Serrano in Gandia while all the remainder are in Oliva’s Music Conservatory. Visit www.oliva.es for full information.
