Jerez Moto Grand Prix set for green light
ALTHOUGH the summer sporting calendar has been decimated by the health crisis, one of motorsports biggest events is still set to go ahead. The Moto GPs in Jerez (Andalusia) scheduled for 19 and 26 July mark the debut of the Grand Prix motorcycle season and look set to get the go ahead in a meeting this weekend between Jerez City Council, the Andalusian government and Dorna, the association in charge of the Moto World Championship. Details such as restrictions on crowd numbers, enforcing social distancing and even whether it will be held behind closed doors have yet to be finalised. The venue for both races will be the Angel Nieto circuit in Jerez (pictured).
