Huge rental hike
TWO cities in the Valencian Community, Castellon and Valencia City, are among the top six across Spain for rental increases over the last four years. Palma heads the list with rent rising by 46% followed by Malaga (42%), Valencia (38%), Castellon (37%), Madrid (37%) and Barcelona (34%). At the other end of the scale is Jaen and Soria with rises of just 4% and 6% respectively, barely in line with inflation. The figures were published by real estate portal Idealista.
