HOSPITAL EXCELLENCE

TORREVIEJA Hospital´s Internal Medicine Service has received a top award for the quality of care that it provides to patients. The Spanish Society of Internal Medicine(SEMI) has given its SEMI Excellence award to the facility, based on a whole series of measurements. Areas analysed included training, research and management, as well as acute patient care in the hospital. Dr. Julio César Blázquez, the head of the Internal Medicine Service at Torrevieja Hospital said that the award recognised the work of all the staff to provide quality healthcare for their patients and support to their families.
