Triple tragedy on the road
A horrific accident on the AP-7 motorway at the weekend in the Alicante province (Valencian Communidad) at the weekend left three people dead. The Traffic Management Centre gave details of the incident which occurred at 5.50pm on Sunday, around the kilometre 528 marker in the municipality of Crevillent. A truck and two cars collided and burst into flames, killing all three drivers. Thankfully there were no passengers in any of the vehicles, something which is currently prohibited under new restrictions. The reason for the tragedy is not known at this time and an investigation has been opened. The motorway was closed while the wreckage was removed and the road made safe.
