MEMBERS of the Royal Naval Association in Torrevieja helped to boost the coffers of Age Concern, Costa Blanca south, to the tune of 372 euros, which was handed over at the charity´s La Siesta centre last week.
The RNA raise funds by way of raffles and book sales at their monthly restaurant visit, and the association, formed in 1990, has a solid membership base of 85 people.
The group selects three charities every year to hand over some money to, and RNA representatives Ian Rowlands, Danny Kay, Rose Kay and Carol Rowlands passed over the donation to Age Concern president, Maureen Payne.
