The town of Moraira will be honouring two saint; Virgen de los Desamparados and the Virgen del Carmen during their annual fiesta from the 6th to the 21st July 2019.

22:30 Presentation of the Festeras and Festeros and the opening speech from the Explanada del Castillo

19:00 Entrà de la Murta Parade with Traditional Dancers

23:30 Correfocs, running with fireworks
Sunday 14th July
19:30 Flower Offering Parade accompanied by accompanied by the Colla de Dolcainers i Tabalaters El Falcó de Teulada, la Charanga de Jalón, la Charanga el Bataclán and los Tambores La Mediterránea de Moraira, in honour of the patron saint, La Virgen de los Desamparados, the flowers will be laid at the little chapel opposite the Castle after which the Hymn of Moraira will be sung.
Monday 15th July
08:00 Desperta, early morning parade with music, rockets and the ringing of the church bells..
14:00 Tremendous Mascletá Display along Paseo de Senillar.
21.00 Solemn Procession in honour of our patron saint La Virgen de los Desamparados with the Banda Musical Los Gavilanes de Alicante, la Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters El Falçó y la Agrupación Musical Cultural de Teulada, followed by a Spectacular Musical Firework display at the Castle.
Tuesday 16th July
08:00 Desperta, early morning parade with music, rockets and the ringing of the church bells.
12:00 Mass in honour of the Virgen del Carmen.
14:00 Tremendous Mascletá Display along Paseo de Senillar.
14:00 Traditional Soapy Pole Competition
20:30 Solemn Procession through town and sea (weather permitting) in honour of the Virgen del Carmen accompanied by the la Banda Musical Los Gavilanes de Alicante, la Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters El Falçó y la Agrupación Musical Cultural de Teulada, followed by a fabulous aquatic fireworks.
