A new lift will go into service before the end of next month at Guardamar´s Santa Ana industrial estate car park which will link up to Calle Molivent.
The lift will accommodate six people, and along with a new staircase next to it, it will provide substantially easier pedestrian access to the town hall, the weekly market site and the local health centre.
Guardamar´s public works councillor, José María Hernández, said it was an important improvement to the area and would enable the Santa Ana car park to be used to its full potential.
New signs, better lighting, and improved CCTV have all been included in the 200 thousand projects at the industrial estate.
