THE Javea Services Department have promised to look into the issue after residents complained that some of the bins in the town are a danger, especially to small children. These are for underground rubbish and recycling refuse and the backs are often open, causing the potential hazard. Services Councillor Kika Mata said that her team had secured the doors but it is members of the public who have opened them, presumably to make disposal easier. She said that the doors will be sealed up so they cannot be easily opened.
