CARTAGENA council says that two beaches will have extra lifeguards patrolling them this summer, after they announced the additional requirement in their new tender contract for the lifeguard service.
The contract for the two year franchise stipulates that two extra lookout towers will have to be installed at Playa de la Chapineta, with an additional observation spot at Playa del Corral in Isla Plana.
