AN IMPRESSIVE sum of 11, 653 euros raised by a variety show last month, has been handed over to the Torrevieja disabled and special needs school, Apanee.
Fundraiser, Casey Shaddock and entertainer Stevie Spit hosted the “Big Stars for Little Stars” event at the Orihuela Costa Resort, featuring the services of a variety of local performers.
Casey and Stevie were invited on Monday to formally sign a receipt for the proceeds to Apanee, which was recorded by local television.
The duo paid tribute to everybody who worked with them collecting money, as well as the entertainers that gave their time free of charge.
