Beware of wild boar dangers

The 24-year-old suffered multiple injuries and was transferred to Gandia Hospital in the early hours (approx. 4.15am) of Sunday morning.  This is the second such incident in a week and increases concerns that the creatures are fast becoming out of control in the region, posing a danger to traffic and farm crops which they have been foraging on. The lack of people and traffic has brought many shyer animals out into the open, looking for food, space and water. Sightings of boars were previously rare on the motorway, but reports are increasing, worrying road safety experts about the consequences.
