Ladies lap of honour
ONDARA is hosting the eighth and final stage of the Volta la Marina cycle road race on 8 March and, as this also coincides with International Women’s Day, there will be a special “lap of honour” around the town beforehand. This will start at 9.45am at Plaza de Toros and feature all the females who participated in any or all of the eight leg event which started back in early December in Parcent. The race itself will then start at 10.15 from Avenida Doctor Fleming, a 66 kilometre course that takes in Beniarbeig, Sanet, Rafol, Sagra, Tormos, Orba and Benidoleig before ending where the race started on Avenida Fleming.
