Crushed to death
THE Guardia Civil have confirmed that a 70-year-old man died in Teulada over the weekend after being crushed by a car. The tragedy happened at Saturday lunchtime on Cami de les Comes when the vehicle appears to have rolled down an embankment after being parked up. Two ambulances attended the scene, but the pensioner could not be revived, said the Guardia statement. An investigation is underway as to why the vehicle ran out of control.
