THE Red Cross have donated an electric mini-ambulance to Denia Hospital to transport children receiving care. If youngsters are going for surgery or some other procedures, for sanitary reasons only medical staff are permitted past a certain point, meaning family have to stay behind. As this upsets some of the smaller children the remote controlled “ambulance ride” helps relax them before the procedure....

Denia´s long awaited Museum of the Sea opened its doors to the public last Friday at its site in the historic old fish market. 25 years in the planning and after several false starts, the museum was officially inaugurated in a ceremony attended by local dignitaries and members of the public.
