Book month continues

APRIL is book month in Javea and the literary-themed events continue on 15 April with the appearance of well-known poet Antonio Hernandez who will be at the central library from 8 pm The next day in contrast travel writer Javier Reverte will be at the same venue, again from 8 pm. The library also hosts Elvira Cambrils on 19 April (from midday) when she will be presenting her book “A la platja de Camus”.

April 23 is the official World Book Day and to mark this “A Stone in my Shoe”, the autobiography of the renowned Canadian author and poet George Ellenbogen will be presented at the Duanes Library. This is a memoir of growing up in Montreal’s Jewish district after the war and there will be readings by Jill Morrison and Esperanza Morals.
