All set for the summer

THE work to get the Raco de l’Albir beach ready for the fast approaching summer season is now underway, starting with the levelling of the sands. “We will continue with the conditioning, maintenance and cleaning work that is intensifying with the arrival of the good weather” said Councillor for Beaches Rocio Guijarro.   Painting of street furniture (benches etc.) is also taking place as well as the installation of children’s areas, the lifeguards booth and the “biblioplaya” library service. Pavements on the beach-front are undergoing repair and extra sand has been added where required such as the volleyball courts and kid’s play zones.
